Impact Storytelling

During the end-of-year fundraiser, Conscious Alliance generated impact stories showing how funds were being use to feed families in need that were shared through social media channels and email marketing.

In 2020, Conscious Alliance’s social media coverage of their donation of 1,500 turkeys to Chance the Rapper’s SocialWorks’s Turkey Giveaway in Chicago caught the attention of Discover who reached out and contracted Conscious Alliance to produce a drive-up meal distribution event serving Chicago’s Chatham neighborhood. The Discover partnership continues to grow; Conscious Alliance will be producing a 1,500 person Holiday Meal Delivery event with Discover in November 2021.

 

Impact

Since it’s initial launch in 2018, donations raised from the annual peer-to-peer fundraiser has provided over 1 million meals to families in need.

Launched as an end-of-year fundraising effort in 2018, Conscious Alliance’s ‘On the Road to End Childhood Hunger’ campaign has steadily increased funds raised year-over-year. (2018 - $47,046.91 raised, 2019 - $76,263.31 raised, 2020 - $204,136.09, 2021 - $256,719, 2022 - $298,638)
